Promo and aftermovies for CANactions events

Description:

CANactions festival is the biggest architecture and urban event in Ukraine. Each year (except for 2020) it gathers architects and spatial planners. The team also carries out educational programs at CANactions School. 

Our collaboration with CANactions started in 2017. Firstly, we had to propose formats for covering events — from festival promo to aftermovie about year-long study program. 

Our tasks included:

• filming the events;
• interviewing speakers from Ukraine and abroad;
• traveling to other cities and countries;
• developing scripts;
• editing and postproduction;
• creating motion graphics;
• translating and editing texts for the videos.  

Results:

We have created 9 videos in various formats. Our works gathered more than 45 000 views, as well as many reviews from the professional community of architects, partners, visitors of the festival, and the Embassy of Denmark in Ukraine.

We have also collaborated in media coverage: Pryvit/media did articles about a book published by CANactions and one of their educational programs.
